The Atlanta Hawks Summer Basketball Camp for boys and girls (ages 8-17) was held at Philips Arena from June 23-25. An experienced staff, led by former Hawks guard Charlie Criss, instructed campers in all aspects of the game, including; shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, teamwork and more. Additionally, Hawks guards Acie Law IV and Mario West, along with Hall-of-Famer Dominique Wilkins served as guest speakers.
This year’s camp was sponsored by Sprite and Philips Electronics, with Russell serving as the official apparel sponsor. Breakfast and lunch were provided each day courtesy of Chick-fil-A® at CNN Center and Beef ‘O’ Brady’s.
