Flat Rock Middle School and Sandy Creek High School have joined forces once again to host a 5K and 1-Mile fun run/walk on Saturday, October 11, 2008. The cost for participating is $15 until October 1st. After October 1, the fee will rise to $20. Race warm-ups will begin at 8:00 am at the Sandy Creek cross country course. All participants will receive a t-shirt and will be eligible to win a bevy of door prizes. Awards to the top three male/female finishers in each age group in the 5K race will also be provided. Proceeds from the race will benefit an educational program at both schools.
