Featuring Performances by HOLDCELL and Cowboy Mouth
Sports Fan Properties, in association with SSI Productions and KO Kings, are proud to present “The Big Rock Out”, Saturday, September 19, 2009. Held in the Atlantic Aviation Hangar at the DeKalb Peachtree Airport, the Vegas style event will feature a night of boxing matches with rising stars "Pretty Boy" Michael Jean Louis, "Ominous" Omri Lowther, “Ice” Anthony Greenidge, and “Bazooka” Jose Martinez and live rock performances by HOLDCELL and Cowboy Mouth. Tickets start at $25 and are available online at the www.bigrockout.com or by calling 877-725-8849.
"The striking blend of these high-energy forms of entertainment is something we have discussed for several years,” said Greg Barckhoff, managing partner of Sports Fan Properties LLC. “Now that we have secured such a great venue, we have all the intriguing elements we wanted to introduce this one-of-a-kind event to a highly competitive market such as Atlanta.”
Adrian Patrick, CEO of KO Kings, has assembled four top-notch bouts, which includes four professional boxing matches. “All of the fighters participating have shown great promise in their respective weight classes and will undoubtedly prove that in the ring on September 19,” said Patrick. “These athletes are extremely talented and dedicated to delivering their best efforts come fight night. We believe everyone in attendance will enjoy the action and see the kind of talent brewing in Atlanta.”
Cowboy Mouth, which is renowned for engaging fans and creating a truly unique musical performance, will be the headliner the event. Larger-than-life front man, Fred LeBlanc, commands an extraordinary stage presence, uncommon for a drummer, always leaving fans wanting more. “We are excited to be a part of an event that combines both music and sporting entertainment; especially one as unique as The Big Rock Out,” LeBlanc said.
HOLDCELL, a local band from Marietta that is quickly becoming one of Atlanta’s favorites, will open for Cowboy Mouth. Their hard hitting, straight up rock & roll sound with broad appeal will set the tone for the evening.
Rising boxing stars "Pretty Boy" Michael Jean Louis (undefeated with almost 90% KO ratio), "Ominous" Omri Lowther (formerly ranked the #2 national amateur), “Ice” Anthony Greenidge (NABA U.S. Champion), and “Bazooka” Jose Martinez (NABA U.S. Champion) will be sure to please the crowd during four matches.
Due to the exclusive setting of this event, only a limited number of tickets will be available for sale to the public. Please visit www.thebigrockout.com for more information.
