Run for University of West Georgia Almost Here

Early registration for the 24th annual Run for UWG (University of West Georgia) is ongoing through Friday, Sept. 25, ending at 5 p.m. Registering early guarantees a tee shirt and reduced rates of $10 for individuals and $15 for families. All fees go toward the Annual Fund and student scholarship. After September 25 registration increases by $5.

The event features three races suitable for every age beginning with a Tot-Trot for ages 2 to 6, a one-mile walk/run and a 5K event. The 5K race will have awards for the top three finishers in a variety of age and gender divisions ranging from 11 years to 70 and over.

The race date is October 1 and registration forms should be mailed or delivered to the Alumni House on Maple Street. Forms are available at the Alumni House and online at the Development and Alumni Relations site, http://www.westga.edu/alumni.
