Run for A DAY for UWG

The much-anticipated First National Bank of Georgia Run for A DAY will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, with the race lineup located at the University Community Center.

The FNBG Run features three races suitable for every age beginning with a Tot-Trot for ages 2 to 6 at 5:15 p.m. The fun continues with a one-mile walk/run at 5:45 p.m. and a 5K event is at 6:15 p.m. The 5K race will have awards for the top three finishers in a variety of age and gender divisions ranging from 11 years to 70 and over.

Pre-registration guarantees a tee shirt and costs $10 for individuals, $15 for families and $5 for UWG students with a current student I.D. The deadline for pre-registration is on Friday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m. Registration after the early deadline is $15 for individuals, $20 for families and $7 for UWG students. There is no registration fee for the Tot-Trot Run.

Pre-registration forms can be found online, at the UWG Campus Center, the UWG Visitor’s Center on Maple Street and at the National Bank of Georgia branches. The race is a rain or shine event with race day registration beginning at 4 p.m. at the UCC.
